Christmas Eve 2014

Christmas Eve was different this year without our Dad. We celebrated our Christmas Eve together keeping the traditions we have always held the best we could. Since Dad's house wasn't decorated this year, Jeremy and Lexie had us all over for our traditional family afternoon on Christmas Eve. We indulged in Aunt Diane's clam chowder, made by myself! (It was delicious I might add!) We also enjoyed Aunt Diane's recipes of crab salad and homemade buns. Katie, Lexie, Stacey and I all had a hand in it.

After our seafood feast we opened gifts and took a couple snapshots before heading to Jim and Mary's for the night. Lahria was exposed to Influenza A so she was unable to share Christmas Eve with us. We sure missed her, Ryles especially. We were so happy to have Linda join us at Jim and Mary's. We shared some tears and memories of Dad that evening, but we also took comfort in having all of us together this holiday season.
